Japanese Superbike- Nishiki Olympic/Dura Ace

For someone looking for a extremely usable and reliable, beautifully built classic road bike, this Nishiki Olympic could be of interest. Built as the flagship of the Nishiki range of bikes, in the workshops of the Kawamura Cycle Company in Japan, especially for the European and US markets, the workmanship displayed on this frame is as nice as you would expect. It has been built with a Tange Champion No1 tube set, which is at least as good as Columbus SL or Reynolds DB 531..some say, even better. The frame and all components have been stripped, inspected, serviced and carefully reassembled, the frame has also been fully aligned. While I know that many of the frames and bikes I have built over the years have ended up being used only very occasionally on a fine Sunday afternoon or hanging as wall art ...I have built this bike specifically to be used a lot. It has been thoughtfully set up for long comfortable rides in the classic style...just throw on your favorite woolen jersey, and off you go.
