1980's Tommaso

Very nice mid eighties Tommaso alloy frame, built by the famous Italian bike builders Alan for the American distributor Tommaso.

This frame set is a really excellent original example that has been thoughtfully built up with a mix of later model Campagnolo components to make a very usable classic machine.

Frame

Tommaso (Alan) aluminum alloy threaded tubes bonded to the alloy lugs with epoxy adhesive.

58cm C-C Seat Tube

57cm C-C Top Tube 

NOS (take off) Campagnolo Veloce brake/shifters set with NOS Veloce calipers.

Veloce derailleurs and 53/39 chainset.

Campagnolo hubs laced to Mavic rims with 8 speed cassette, Selar tyres.

Cinelli stem and bars.

 

Selle Italia Turbo saddle.

All new cables/bearings and new chain.
