!955-6 Hetchins Vade Mecum-Frame #H25519
For
offer here is a very nice mid fifties Hetchins Vade Mecum (I have just
registered the bike in the Hetchins register, so hopefully will get a actual
build date soon). I believe the frame is still sporting it's original paint and decals.
I have built the frame up using an almost completely original period
lightweight racing groupset, every component has been completely stripped,
inspected, cleaned and reassembled using original period Campagnolo
grease.

Mid 1950's Hetchins Vade Mecum-Frame
Number H25519. Original (subtle) metallic purple paint with original decals and
headbadge in very good condition,with a nice level of used patina, one small
dent on the top tube.

what a great bike. My father bought Hetchins in 1948 and we still have it. He was constantly on the look out for any Hetchins in NZ - sadly he passed away last week and just missed your listing which would have been the first one for sale here that he had seen. Best of luck selling.
