Colnago SWB with Campagnolo SR

 

For sale here is a classic Colnago with a bit of a hot rod period modification.
For you consideration, very interesting Colnago Mexico that has been modified
with a custom made short wheel base rear triangle. I was told by the German
owner ( I imported this frame from Germany about 8 years ago) that the frame
was modified for a pro rider when the bike was new, I have no way of verifying this,
but will say the workmanship is very professional with it's quite pretty custom made
rear drop outs(the front drop outs have been trimmed as well).
I assume this was done with the aim of making the bike a super responsive
hill climbing or time trial bike.
After riding the bike I can say that it is a great climbing frame, and is a surprisingly
stable and comfortable flat road rider as well.

Frame has been professionally stripped, and painted, aligned and faced.
There is a slight misalignment on the rear of the sear the decal..don't ask!
