1970's Cycles Lucien Competition

Here is a an extremely nice and original mid/late 1970's French road bike from Cycles Lucien, a small bike shop located in Lyon, a city that was well known as being at the very heart of the specialist bike constructeurs of France.

This machine has a near full period flagship French groupset. The bike has been fully disassembled and has the frame carefully aligned all threads chased bottom bracket faced, and then fully reassembled using all NOS period cables, grease and bar wrap.

Frame;                                                                                                                                        Lucien Competition built with Reynolds 531DB tubing, chrome front and rear ends, head lugs,fork crown  and seat stays. Frame is straight and true, paint is very presentable with the odd mark and small scratch here and there, the chrome is generally very good, although the r/h fork crown top has a little blemish, please refer to photos for overall condition.
