1973 COLNAGO SUPER MOLTENI REPLICA

Here is a freshly finished replica of Joseph Bruyere's 1973 Colnago Super Molteni team bike. I have built a couple of Merckx Molteni Colnago's over the years, so was keen to build something a little different, so was pleased when I found the completely original '73 Bruyere Colnago featured on Speedbicycles in the link above.

It took a little longer than I projected to complete as it turned out that none of the decals on the market were quite right, so I ended up creating my own set for this project, figuring that the next one I build will be for me!

The Colnago frame-set I used for this build was an ex team bike which I brought in from France (frame number 24), I believe it was built in the mid to late Seventies, it is rust and dent free, has had the fork crown freshly chromed, and has been fully aligned and threads chased.
