1986 Alan Super Record

From the factory of Lodovico Falconi came some of the first successful all aluminum built race frames, these famous 'glued and screwed lightweight framesets kicked off a revolution in frame building around the world. The demand for the new alloy bike, soon had Alan building frames for many famous Italian frame bulders, including Guerciotti, Fiorella. Fanini amongst others.
Alan race bikes are one of a select few aluminum machines that have seamlessly found a place in the world of collectible racing cycles, this is no small part due to the formidable race heritage attched to the name. Magniflex (1974-75,79), Sella Royal (1977-78), Murella-Fanini (1986) are just some of the teams that used Alan frames.

1986 Alan Super Record.
Size My measurements say 55cm C-C Seat and Top tubes.
The size stamped on the B/B says 54X55cm, I am not sure what is up with that?
The frame is in great orininal condition, it does show the odd little scratch here and there, and the front head decal could be replaced, but overall I would say a very presentable machine with a nice
amount of patina.
